With his energetic personality, his zest for life and no holds bar attitude on being a success in country music worldwide. Dawson has gained notice around the world from fans and music industry people alike.
"I love country music. I love classic rock too. I love to perform! I just want to create a sound that is true to who I am. So to be able to put these two loves together, put it out to the world and have it received so well with the positive reaction from the fans is absolutely amazing!"
After such a great start to his music career with his debut CD "Enjoy The Ride", which Dawson has no doubt been doing. It only made sense that his talent and drive would take him to Nashville to begin work on his next CD. Dawson has been hard at work the past six months writing and listening to new songs and putting his project together to launch his first US Nashville produced CD in the spring of 2012!
"I’ve been very fortunate to have been introduced to some of Nashville’s top industry music minds, musicians, hit writers and producers the past few years. I am very excited to work with these great people that I have on my team to get this CD ready for my US debut!"
Great people indeed! Dawson has written with some of Nashville’s top hit writers like Byron Hill (Gary Allan/Alabama/Joe Nichols), Brian White (Rodney Atkins/Trace Adkins) and Ken Johnson (Craig Morgan/Josh Thompson) and Jaron Boyer (Jason Aldean).
One of the biggest decisions Dawson had to make was what producer would be the one to break him out to country radio and to the amazing country fans in the US. After many meetings and discussions with some top producers in Nashville. Dawson decided to work with Steffan Hamulak out of "Sea The Desert" Studio. Steffan has quietly been making a name for himself in the country music world working with the likes of Richie MacDonald (Lonestar) and Steel Magnolia as well as some other new upcoming artists. This is what Steffan had to say about his new artist...
"Dawson Reigns is a stand out amongst fellow recording artists. Dawson not only possesses a stand out voice but he has a stylistic edge that resonates true to the direction country music is headed for years to come. Dawson is a big hit waiting to happen!"
Along with a hot new producer, Dawson’s music will be left in the very capable and talented hands of "Sea The Desert" music engineer Eric Torres. Eric has worked with the whose who of Nashville; Leann Rimes, Josh Thompson, Randy Houser, Montgomery Gentry, Lady Antebellum and on the 2011 Grammy nominated CD "The Guitar Song" by Jamey Johnson. It’s very clear that Dawson is in great hands for his US debut CD.
"Great music to me are the songs that move people, make them feel something down deep inside and just as important, last for years to come. Live music shows should always leave you believing you just experienced something special that you have to see and hear again and again. That is and always will be my goal!"
So from Def Leppard to Garth Brooks and Aerosmith to Montgomery Gentry. Dawson hopes the music he loves to create continues to be enjoyed by his fans for years to come. That definitely has been the case so far for this successful international country artist.
